Drawing of Abraham Lincoln
Title
Drawing of Abraham Lincoln
Description
A drawing of Lincoln by soldiers in the 155th Pennsylvania Volunteers, with caption "His Excellency Abraham Lincoln," located above the parlor mantel. The regimental history recorded that the graffiti was left in response to "autographs, and many unpatriotic inscriptions" that Confederate soliders had used burnt sticks to write on the white-plastered walls.
