Edward Stannard, who was arrested
by J. Samuel Scranton on Tuesday for
assault upon his father, was tried be
fore Judge Chittenden and was fined
and sent to Jail for ten days. He has
been the cause of much trouble at his
home for the past three years. No
doubt a change will be beneficial to
him.
