- Description
- Emma Robinson, the negress who planned the robbery that led to the murder of Catherine Dunne, was sentenced to Auburn prison for ten to twenty years by Justice Fawcett in the Brooklyn Supreme Court to-day. Her trial on a charge of first degree murder was halted when her counsel said she was ready to plead guilty of manslaughter in the first degree. Frank Kelly, the negro who did the killing, urged on, he said, by the Robinson woman, is in the death house at Sing Sing. Catherine Dunne was a maid employed in the home of Clarence Sperry, No. 1146 East 21st Street, Flatbush. The murder was incidental to a jewel robbery on Dec. 20.
