The articles in this paper had a decent number of articles dealing with women as arsonists, even though most articles were about men committing arson.
There were three articles about female arsonists. Two of them focused mostly on the women and their lives rather than the crime itself, while the other didn't give very much information at all except about the girls's families and lifestyles.
The articles about the men, in contrast, focused on the crime and the effects of it, as well as the legal ramifications of the crime as opposed to the men's personal lives. In addition, most of the articles were about men committing the crime, and most of those talked about men being the victims of the arsony.
