DEFENSE IN KELLY TRIAL COMPLETES CASE AT NOON
lied Oak, liª., Sept. 22.óTlio defense in trial Lynn George Kelly
murder trial closed its case shortlybefore noon today and court ajourned until Monday morning when the state will begin testimony in rebuttal. This arrangement indicates that the jurors will have the fate of the itinerant unordained minister, who is charged with the murder of eight persons at Villisra in 1912, in theirhands by Thursday or Friday. Mrs. Kelly spent most of the morning on the stand and told of Kelly's arrest in Nebraska on arson charges.
She said she was at home-with Kelly on the nights of the various fires,
which lie confessed having started,
and was certain her husbandís mind
was weakening.Olliers told of various weakminded acts of the minister.
