Description
MEHAK MUST PAY $10 FINE. Special to Evening News New Brunswick, Oct. 20: - John Mehak, of Woodbridge, was found guilty of assaulting a woman in Woodbridge last July. He was fined $10 and given 30 days in which to pay it. Articles of incorporation for the FIrst Polish Artillery society of Perth Amboy, were filed with the county clerk this morning. The society is an artillery corps of Perth Amboy, with a sick benefit fund attached. Their office is at 83 Catherine street. The county clerk will make an application before Judge Fort for the permission to open the ballot boxes. So that they can be used at the next election. Under the new law it is impossible to open the ballot boxes until three months after an election, unless a permit is granted from court, it will be necessary to get that permit. It will be only two months until the coming election, since the special election for the amendments to the constitution was held.
