Oakland Fans Are Trampled in Wild Excitement. OAKLAND, Cal., Feb. 5.- Thousands of fight fans watching the matches at the Oakland auditorium last night were given a thrill not on the card when Thomas Munse, a shipyard worker, drew a revolver and opened fire on a man believed to be H. C. Lido. Lido was hit in the right arm. He dashed out of the building and disappeared. The Oakland police said they have wanted him for alleged assaults on strike breakers. Munse was arrested. The shooting took place during one of the preliminary bouts. In the excitement chairs were knocked down and trampled on. The fighters in the right ceased battling and scurried for cover.
