After a search of several weeks Sheriff
Viett last Monday received information
that Mrs. Elizabeth Young, wanted in this
county on the charge of embezzlement pre-
ferred by Roger Murphy, a resident of
Clarksburg district, was making her home
near Bowie, in Prince George's county, and
Monday afternoon the sheriff went there
and placed the woman under arrest, lodg-
ing her in jail here. She is said to have
victimized several Clarksburg district
people and is understood to be wanted
elsewhere on similar charges. Mrs. Young
will te given a hearing this (Friday) morn
ing. Her manner of fleecing the citizens
of Clarksburg district and her escape from
that locality were given in the Sentinel
several weeks ago.
