A horse was stolen from the stable on the j
farm of Mr. Lee Offutt, situated about four
miles north of Rockville, on Tuesday night
last. It was found Wednesday at the farm
of Mr. Richter, near Germantown. It is
supposed the theft was committed by some
one with the purpose of securing a ride
into the neighborhood where the animal
was found, and having no further use for
the animal turned it loose. The thief re-
mains unknown.
