Description
Robert J. Coffin was charged with committing an assault and battery upon 13-year-old John S. Graham. The latter, with a number of boys, was playing ball on a lot in East Twelfth street. The boys were using a ball that belonged to Mr. Coffin's son, and when the lad wanted to go home it is alleged that the boys threw the ball away. Mr. Coffin appeared on the scene, and, it was alleged, grabbed
young Graham by the neck, choking him. A fine of $10 and costs was imposed.
