- Description
- RESENTENCED TO WORKHOUSE NEW BRUNSWICK, Feb. 16 – Judge Daly in the criminal court today resentenced Jerome Weingart of New Brunswick, convicted on atrocious assault and battery by running down and maiming two-and-a-half-year-old Eugent JAronies, from a full term in the reformatory to two months in the workhouse. The leniency shown was the result of a deposit of $5,000 made by the parents of Weingart with the Poeple’s National Bank here, for the use of the child when it becomes older and also paid $1,000 for medical bills.
