- Description
-
Paul McKee of Grand Junction, was
arrested and brought to Paw Paw Saturday
by Deputy Sheriff Fred Rienshaw,
charged with having threatened
to shoot his wife. Arrangements bad
been previously made before his examination
Monday to have Paul plead
guilty to just a simple assault, and he
was taken to Grand Junction before
Justice Fred Reams for that purpose.
Upon reaching the justice office he had
a change of heart, and pleaded not
guilty, which came as a surprise to the
officers, and he demanded an examination.
As Prosecutor Burhans is busy
in circuit court, Paul will have to
wait for his examination, and can pro
pare for a more severe examination
than was first intended.
He can get his pencil and paper
ready to write upon the subject,
"Threaten to Shoot Wife."
No date has been set for the examination.
