Description
GRAND JURY TO GET COUNTERFEITING CASE
William Wright, a negro, was today given a preliminary bearing on the charge of counterfeiting before United Status Commissioner Anson S. Taylor and held for the grand Jury under a bond of $1,500.
George F. Foster of the United States Secret Service, and members of the Washington police force told how they found Wright with eleven counterfeit quarters in his possession at 1416 Church street on Saturday night.
Wright admitted having the corns in possession. He declared he did not make them.
Charles Turner, assistant United States District Attorney, appeared for the prosecution.
