Description
Kids Started Fight and Elders Finished It - Children belonging to Swan Nandberg, 5717 13th ave. S., and Mrs. A. Bickford, Nandberg's next door neighbor, staged a free-for-all fight July 1, little thinking of the consequences and after effects. When the storm had quieted one Ray Nurss, a visitor at the Bickford estate, growing indignant called in person upon Nandberg to utter a protest in behalf of his hostess, Mrs. Bickford. His complaint was in the form of a lusty wallop on the jaw of Nandberg, senior. Erick Engstrom, a bystander, rushed to the rescue of the be-swatted Nandberg and was bitten on the hand by the enraged Nurss. So it was alleged, anyhow. The entire cast appeared before Prosecutor Fred C. Brown Friday and a third degree assault warrant was issued against Nurss in Justice Otis W. Brinker's court.
