- Description
- Horace Daniels Arrested on a Charge of Assault. Horace Daniels, one of the proprietors of the Puget Sound laundry, was arrested last night by Patrolmen Searing and Looker on a charge of assault and battery. Early yesterday morning, it is alleged, Daniels engaged in a fight with Harry Clark, a teamster, and during the fracas Clark received a wound on the face, made by a pitchfork, said to have been wielded by Daniels. The trouble occurred in the stable of the laundry on Battery Street, near First Avenue. It is said that Clark may lose his sight. Daniels is held at the city jail without bail, pending the result of Clark's injuries.
