- Eddie Harrington, Ralph Burnington, Sam Jones and Richard Lee, of 16, 17, 18, and 19 years respectively, arrested Saturday afternoon on a charge of assaulting George Malanaos, a Greek, who has a fruit stand on the water front, were fined $1 and costs by Judge Cann this morning. It developed during the trial that Malanaos permitted the boys to play a dice game in his store. Judge Cann ordered the prosecuting attorney to draw up a complaint charging Malanaos with permitting minors to gamble.
