- Accused of beating E. S. Wood, of Tacoma, at an Auburn roadhouse Saturday night, Roy Anderson, for rent car driver, and J. Chavis, both of Tacoma, were in the county jail Tuesday. Deputy Sherrif Merrill returned them after Tacoma police arrested them on a third degree assault warrant.
