Patterns in the the nature of murder
Here is where we will look at patterns that occurred within in-state and out-of-state murder stories during the year 1900 as well as the year 1920.
During this time period 5 of the murders that occurred in-state were shootings and 2 of the murders involved a quarrel. When it comes to out-of-state murders 4 were shootings, 2 involved a quarrel, 2 involved a wife, and 2 involved a child or multiple children.
One of the in-state murders of this time involved a boy who confessed to being with another boy on the night of the murder of a man named Gus Ahrens. The other 2 crimes were also different where 1 involved a wife and another involved dynamite. When it comes to out-of-state murders 6 of the murders involved a shooting, 2 murdered involved a wife, and 3 murders involved children.
There were no patterns to be found within the in-state murders that occurred during 1900 and 1920.
When it comes to out-of-state murders, in 1920 6 of the murders involved a shooting (2 more than what was seen in 1900), 2 murders involved a wife (just like what was seen in 1900), and 3 murders involved children (1 more than what was seen in 1900). Unlike what was seen in 1900, none of the murders in 1920 involved a quarrel.
