The second pattern I have found in my dataset is that the assassinations being reported on, two to exact, were both executed by a group of multiple men, rather than just one. Both of these cases involved extensive planning and were elaborate. The case "Refuse to Give British Officials Information Regarding Mysterious Murder" includes breaking and entering and masked men. The other article, "Taylor in Murder Plot" includes multiple men and a bounty put on the victim. Both cases were assassinations of government officials, "Refuse to Give British Officials Information Regarding Mysterious Murder" includikng the murder of an Irish officer, and "Taylor in Murder Plot" including the murder of an American politician.
