Description
Robbery in Henrico. On Saturday night Mr. Louis Raabe, a butcher in the Old Market, was robbed at his residence, on the Nine-Mile road near Harding's shop. The thieves, having effected in entrance, visited, the room where Mr. Raabe slept, and, without awakening him or anyone in the house, stole from the pockets of his pants, which were hanging near the bed, $75 or $80. He had some silver in another pocket, which they did not touch. Mr. Rabbe discovered his loss only when he awoke in the morning, and found that he had also been robbed of a pair of fine boots. As of yet there is no clue
to the perpetrators of the theft.
