Description
PETERSBURG, VA., January 13.—(Special.)—A line horse was stolen at an early
hour this morning, from the stable of Mr. W. T. Smith, just outside of this city, in Prince George county. The loss was discovered soon after the theft, and persons started in pursuit. The horse was
subsequently recovered, but the negro who was riding him, when he found he was pursued, took to the woods. He is known, and will doubtless be captured.
