Murder in the Evening World, 1900 & 1920

Pattern 1

There were a few patterns I observed, one of which is that when women are the murderers, the victim is almost always a family member. This is the case for three of my cases. I only have four cases where women are the alleged murderer, one of which where the women in question did not commit the murder but rather is seen as responsible for the circumstances that let to the murder. The other three cases where women were directly involved in the murder are as follows, "Acquitted of Murder," "Son Gives No Reason For Murder of his Sister" and "Favre Case to Grand Jury." In the case of both  "Son Gives No Reason For Murder of his Sister" and "Favre Case to Grand Jury" it is reported that a woman has murdered her daughter. In "Acquitted of Murder" a woman is tried for the murder of her husband, and there is an accomplice that is also a suspect.
