Belle Grove Plantation

The attic of the mansion house contains four signatures that can be identified as soldiers (and several others dated in the 1860s that do not include regiments). At this site, visitors continued to add names and writing after the Civil War, so that the Civil War graffiti is now part of a mass of writing.
