Blenheim House

The 29th New York Regiment had duties in the defense of Washington, D.C. from the summer of 1861 until April 1862.  This is likely the period that John Beck stayed at the Blenheim House in Fairfax, Virginia.  While there, John Beck signed his name multiple times on the same wall.  His signatures are located in the attic, in the left room, on the large wall immediately to your left.
