Manassas

From July 16, 1861 until July 21, 1861, the 29th New York Infantry Regiment advanced to Manassas, Virginia, the first place that they ventured to upon being mustered in.  Once there, this regiment fought in the Battle of Bull Run, which occured soon after their arrival on July 21, 1861.  However, whether or not John Beck fought in this battle is unknown due to the fact that on his CMSR Card from this, it says "Not Stated" for whether or not he was even with his regiment in Manassas.
