Ida Robinson
Milon died on June 14th, 1903. He left a mortgaged property and a number of debts for his wife. Ida had not previously worked while Milon was alive. She now turned to manual labor. The pay for her work was insufficient to sustain herself or her children. Ida was ultimately able to secure a pension, though it is doubtful that the pension kept her or her children very well.
"(Milon Robinson and Ida) were poor and had no surplus. I sold (Milon) groceries and at times have him credit for them. He and his family were at times hard up and needy, and at no time did he or they habe more than a bare living. They had very little property. "
"His (Milon's) debts at the time of his death were as much or more than his assets."
"(Ida) has no income. Her only means of support is her daily labor, and she will be able to earn little if anything by means of this labor, as she does not appear to be in good health."
