Death

Consider Flower died on February 7, 1927, at 83 years of age. His death certificate recorded the cause of death as apploplexy, another stroke.

Flower was buried in the cemetery in Lynn Haven. His headstone gave prominence to his civil war service, but did not record the years of his life. (Although not visible in this photograph, the headstone also recorded that he was the husband of Lucy Flower).
